Editing answers?

hi, I have a question..

I just posted a response to someone's question but realised I had put HTML code (for a link) in the message. I resubmitted an answer without it as I couldn't see a way to quickly edit the reply and take the code out. Is there a way to edit your response before it is approved/not approved? Or should we just resubmit the corrected answer?

Nope, there's no way to edit an answer once it's been submitted.

In general, it's better to take the time and get the typoes out first, but I of all people know that doesn't always happen.

Yeah, I've only answered two questions in total so far, and I did check for spelling, but didn't realise until I submitted that HTML didn't work. Missed the note under the text box until I wondered why it didn't work. oops! I'll know for next time now.

Hah. You know, last night I did the same thing--submitted an answer but it had HTML code in it (usernames, in my case). I looked for a way to edit, but reposting didn't even cross my mind.
